Diversion of the Gwaun Cae Gurwen coal trains during the week commencing 18th March necessitated reversals at Llandeilo Junction, Margam and Swansea Burrows in order to reach Onllwyn - the whole process being scheduled to take up to seven hours! As part of this, the trains became what are likely to be the last freight workings to traverse the old Loughor Viaduct before it is demolished and the new one moved into position. This is 66126 at Loughor with 6O70, 1355 Gwaun Cae Gurwen to Onllwyn on 19th March 2013. Note that the new viaduct (alongside) already has track laid on it.
